Grayson County, Texas Offers On-Line Payment through TrafficPayment.com

ADDISON, TEXAS – February 14, 2007 – Grayson County now allows its defendants to pay traffic citations online or over the phone, using the TrafficPayment.com system.

"Online and phone payments will provide our defendants with a convenient method payment that is available to them 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week. It is our hope that this increased convenience will result in increased collections for the County," Jeff Schneider, Purchasing Agent for Grayson County, said.

TrafficPayment.com will also augment the city’s current phone payment system with an additional phone system that offers both English and Spanish speaking customer service representatives. The phone system can be reached at (800) 444-1187.

"TrafficPayment.com strives to provide cities, counties and schools with the most inclusive, hassle-free payment system possible. We offer these institutions the option of integrating or not integrating with the court’s traffic control software. Thus, each institution is able to choose the degree of control and convenience level that they desire. We also supplement the on-line system with an 800 number that accepts phone payments. Grayson County began accepting payments through TrafficPayment.com on January 20, 2007. Violators may pay their citations on the Grayson County web site at www.grayson.co.tx.us under each individual Justice of the Peace. Defendants can also pay directly through TrafficPayment.com’s site at www.TrafficPayment.com.

Grayson County’s Justice of the Peace offices are located in Sherman, Denison, Whitesboro, and Van Alstyne, TX. All Justice of the Peace offices are open from 8:30am - 4:30pm.

TrafficPayment.com is located in Addison, Texas and currently serves clients in both Texas and Oklahoma.
