City of Dewey, Oklahoma Selects TrafficPayment.com

Midland, Texas and Dewey, Oklahoma – July 8, 2005 – The City of Dewey, Oklahoma has selected TrafficPayment.com’s VA integrated solution to accept credit card payments in their municipal court. The new system allows individuals that received a ticket in Dewey to make payment online or by phone. People paying tickets no longer need to deal with checks, stamps, certain business hours, or waiting in line. They merely log on to TrafficPayment.com and enter specific information about their citation, pay the fine with a credit card, and the citation is instantly resolved. Bill Breshears of Dewey, Oklahoma said, "TrafficPayment provided us with an integrated solution to accept payment online 24/7 all at no cost. Until now this would not have been possible and only available to large cities."

TrafficPayment.com has started offering online and phone payment for all outstanding Dewey citations. Violators can now pay in the court, online, and by phone. The City of Dewey Municipal Court utilizes the Offender Data Information System provided by the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Resource Center (OCJRC), which is fully integrated with TrafficPayment.com. The OCJRC and TrafficPayment.com worked closely together to develop the integrated solution. The product is now available free of charge to all agencies using the Offender Data Information System. "The City of Dewey gives TrafficPayment a presence in Oklahoma. We are looking forward to serving numerous agencies throughout the state in the upcoming months" said Mark Holly, Vice President of Sales.

Information can now be found on the citations informing the violator about the option of payment at the TrafficPayment.com website or by phone at 1-800-444-1187.
