CyberSource Corporation (NASDAQ: CYBS), has been named to provide electronic payment solutions for Midland, Texas-based Trafficpayment.com. CyberSource's Professional Services group designed and implemented the payment infrastructure for the firm, and the company will be hosting Trafficpayment's online payments.

Trafficpayment.com offers an innovative solution to universities, colleges, municipalities, airports and other organizations that derive revenue from traffic and parking citations--an online payment service that lets institutions see the financial benefit of tickets without incurring attendant administrative costs. People paying tickets no longer need to deal with checks, stamps, or waiting in line. They merely log on to Trafficpayment.com, enter specific information about their citation, and pay the fine with a credit card.

Solutions provided by CyberSource are online payment (allowing payment of citations online via credit card) and electronic checks (allowing Trafficpayment to remit funds to its customers, universities and other institutions).
