City of Alvarado, Texas Implements Online Payment
Midland, Texas and Alvarado, Texas – May 23, 2005 –
The City of Alvarado, Texas has selected TrafficPayment.com’s VA integrated solution to accept credit card payments in their municipal court. The new system allows Alvarado’s violators to make payments for their citations online or by phone. People paying tickets no longer need to deal with checks, stamps, or waiting in line. They merely log on to TrafficPayment.com and enter specific information about their citation, pay the fine with a credit card, and the citation is instantly resolved. Vicki Green of the municipal court said, "We have numerous defendants a day attempt to pay with a credit card, now we have the capability."
TrafficPayment.com has started offering online and phone payment for Alvarado violators on all outstanding citations. Violators can pay in the court, online, and by phone. The City of Alvarado Municipal Court utilizes Cardinal Tracking’s Court SE system, which is fully integrated with TrafficPayment.com’s online citation payment solution. Cardinal Tracking and TrafficPayment.com partnered in June 2004 to better serve local governments. The City of Alvarado is another municipality to benefit from the partnership.
Violators will find new information on their citations that will let them know about the option of payment at the TrafficPayment.com website or by phone at 1-800-444-1187.
